The Orval brewery commissioned Sien to create a visitor centre on the historic site of the Orval Abbey ruins. The permanent exhibition explains how Orval trappist beer and cheese is made, and why this is part of our culinary heritage. Interactive screens and a quiz on the abbey are integrated into a light-hearted scenography. The last gallery in the visitor centre is devoted to Brother Abraham, the monk painter. His life and work are interpreted and portrayed via a digital sketchbook. Finally, Sien also designed the bars and interior decoration of l’Ange Guardien, the abbey’s themed inn.
