Sien has transformed the former Stellingwerf-Waerdenhof museum into a real city museum, a museum both about and for the inhabitants of Hasselt. The idea was to guide visitors through the museum based on the name of the street where they live. Everyone is always curious to know more about their street, where the name comes from, how old it is, who has lived there, etc. The museum is divided into different themes that allow these questions to be answered. In 2010 the museum was expanded to include an interactive exhibit on the future development of the city, so that everyone can keep track of the urban design plans for Hasselt for the years to come.
