Gaasbeek Castle has called upon the services of Sien a number of times. In 2006, Sien created the exhibition “From Pièce Montée to Peach Melba”, a staged exhibition on aristocratic desserts in the 19th century. The year after that it was the turn of “All Knights Together!” In 2008, at the request of the Province of Vlaams-Brabant, Sien created the first regional tourist visitors’ centre. Shortly after that the castle was in thrall to dragons, in all their symbolic and decorative might. And in 2012, Sien summoned up the mood of “Sehnsucht”, or “Longing” in English, with powerfully designed lighting.
